Nice quiet and shaded park with friendly hosts. If you don't have kids with you, this is probably the best place to camp when visiting Frankenmuth.

This is a great place to spend a summer. Lots of activities in Traverse City, especially the Film Festival which we really enjoyed. We did have a few problems with the WiFi at this campground, but the work out room was nicely equipped and the concrete sites are super for several weeks' stay.

This is a new campground (Sept 06) and the owners have done everything right. The sites were perfectly level, WiFi strong (and free), bathrooms the best and cleanest I've ever seen in a campground anywhere, good water pressure, consistent power, and the managers are among the nicest I've met. Because it's new it has no trees, but give it a few years. Basically much nicer than the very cramped campgrounds in Pigeon Forge and Gatliburg. Well worth a stop on your next Smokies visit.

Probably the rudest park manager in the business makes your visit here memorable. I was immediately informed upon arrival that my pre-paid reservation for a 50 amp pull through -could not be honored because SHE would decide where we would park, not those reservation people in Shreveport. After a lengthy discussion in which she said she didn't have a 50 amp site long enough for my 32-foot Montana, she finally pointed me to a site she said I probably would fit in. I could have parked a Semi in it. Bottom line, stay somewhere else in Tunica, Sams Town doesn't want you. Oh, and the "upscale" restaurant isn't worth the money either.

What a wonderful place to stay--Friendly staff, wide sites, heated pool, great gym, and right in the middle of the desert at the foot of Superstition Mountain. You're outside the congestion of Phoenix/Mesa/Apache Junction but near a nice grocery and restaurants. The only issue is lack of good WiFi in parts of the campground, but a card room near the ballroom has excellent access. This is a great camping value for a week or several months. Highly Recommended.

I gotta give this little place a 9 because it's just a nice little campground. It's old and the spaces are close together, but the folks there were some of the nicest we met on our trip. When we arrived, trying to get out of a snowstorm, the manager took us to our site and invited us to their regular Friday night fish fry. Because of the snow we had to stay over a few days, and they were very accommodating. Although it's a little run down, it has a lot of atmosphere and you are really treated well. We would go back again (especially for that Friday night fish fry).

One of the nicest KOA's we've stayed at. Really friendly and accommodating staff, great view of the mountains and a nice little restaurant to boot. If you're driving through Texas, this is a great place to stop for a night or two.

Nice staff, but generally poor park. Lots were not level and not big rig friendly. We reserved a 50 amp site, but when we got there the last one had been given away to a 30 amp rig. Train track nearby so noise all night. Don't bother with the Diamond Jacks casino-the buffet is pretty bad, go to the Ameristar across the street instead. The best thing about the trip was the giant cheesecake at Bourbon's restaurant in the Ameristar. We probably won't stay here again.
